Episode 26:
Generate Professional AI Images

👋🏽 Hey friends,

Google has been on a roll lately.

Every few weeks they drop something that makes me stop and say, “Okay, this is actually useful.”

Few weeks ago was no exception.

Google’s Gemini 3 stole the spotlight with its reasoning capabilities (more on this in future episodes).

But while everyone was talking about that, something else quietly launched:

Nano Banana Pro — Google’s upgraded AI image generation and editing model.

I’ve been wanting to feature Nano Banana since it first released a few months ago.

But then Google topped THAT release with Nano Banana PRO and now feels like the perfect time.

I’m glad I waited.

If you’re like me: someone who spends way too long trying to design, draw or edit visuals then this one’s for you.

Because now, in a few seconds, AI can generate studio-quality images with text that ACTUALLY looks good.

Let me show you what’s possible.

📌 What Is Nano Banana Pro?

Nano Banana Pro (NBP) is Google’s state-of-the-art image generation and editing model, built on Gemini 3 Pro.

Think of it as an AI design assistant that turns your ideas into polished visuals, without needing Canva skills or hours of tweaking.

Here’s what makes the Pro version special:

  • 4K resolution: Crisp, high-quality images ready for any use
  • Flawless text rendering: Finally, AI-generated text for long form and even in multiple languages
  • Multi-image blending: Upload up to 14 images and combine them into one cohesive visual
  • Google Search integration: It pulls real-world information to create accurate, context-rich graphics
  • Works everywhere: Available in the Gemini app, Google Slides, Google Ads, and AI Studio

The biggest takeaway is that NBP actually understands what you’re asking for with its unique “thinking” approach powered by Gemini 3 Pro.

Then, it delivers visuals that don’t look anything like “AI slop”.. they actually look like you can use them right away.

But with these new capabilities, what can you really do with it?

✨ Use Cases That Make This Worth Your Time

Here’s where Nano Banana Pro really shines for creators and professionals exactly like us:

✅ 1. Text-Heavy Infographics From Your Docs

Upload a document, paste some text, share a topic, even drop a website URL — and let it generate a detailed infographic.

Perfect for summarising research, explaining a process, or turning long-form content into something easily shareable.

Nano Banana Pro will research, validate, synthesise then think through the best way to present the information.

This makes these infographics actually usable.

Here’s an example I made just for you:

This is everything you need to know about Nano Banana Pro itself (yes, I used the model to generate an infographic about itself 😅)

Try this: Create an infographic summarising the key points from this newsletter, or any topic, website, content that you desire.

✅ 2. SOP Diagrams for Any Process

Lets say you need to document a workflow for your team.

Describe the steps and let it generate a clean process diagram.

I quickly created one to help onboard a new team member to Gemini and NotebookLM.

It’s great for onboarding docs, internal workflows, content marketing or even client-facing guides.

✅ 3. Multi-Language Marketing Posters

Generate posters with accurate text in multiple languages — no translator needed.

This is one of those use cases that are completely new thanks to the power of AI.

You can even take an existing image and translate the text inside it, while keeping everything else the same.

✅ 4. Product Mockups and Concept Visuals

This is one of my favourites.

Lets say you have a product idea in mind but no design budget.

Now you can generate realistic mockups by describing your product or blending reference images.

Add text, icons, graphics, lighting, subjects, camera angles

Useful for pitching ideas, testing concepts, or creating social content.

Here’s an example where I imagined a digital notebook in Apple like photography, integrated with my website.

Doesn’t look great but I think you get the idea 😅

✅ 5. Whiteboard-Style Visual Summaries

Drop in a long article, YouTube video, or research paper and let it generate a detailed whiteboard-style visual.

It breaks down the content into sections, highlights key points, and presents everything in a format that’s easy to scan and share.

Great for study notes, team briefings, or repurposing content into something more visual.

Pro tip: Ask for “numbered sections with arrows”. This adds structure and makes the output easier to follow.

Here’s one of my all time favourite YouTube videos explained on whiteboard.

✅ 6. Annotated Diagrams for Explanation

Upload any image and ask for an annotated version with labels, callouts, and directional arrows.

Perfect for tutorials, documentation, educational content, or explaining a tech setup to someone non-technical.

It does the visual thinking for you, so you don’t need to open Figma or spend an hour arranging boxes and arrows.

Pro tip: Be specific about label placement and arrow direction

✅ 7. Interior Layout & Furniture Design

Upload a photo of your room or a simple layout sketch and ask Nano Banana Pro to help you reimagine the space.

Perfect for interior design ideas like testing different sofa positions, swapping out a dining table, or seeing how a bookshelf or rug would change the vibe before you buy anything.

That’s exactly what I did for my new study room: I needed to know the best desk placement to avoid sun glare on my screen.

I described the look I’m going for (cosy, minimalist) and NBP generated updated versions of my room that I could actually compare and share.

🛠 How to Get Started (3 Steps)

  1. Open the Gemini app: Go to gemini.google.com and sign in
  2. Start creating: Click under tools > Create images and type a prompt describing the image you want
  3. Iterate and refine: Use follow-up prompts to tweak colours, text, or composition until it’s right

FYI: If you’re a Google One, AI Pro or Ultra subscriber you’ll get priority access and higher quality outputs.

📈 Why This Matters

We’re past the point where AI image tools just make “cool pictures.”

Nano Banana Pro is built for practical work: presentations, documentation, marketing, and education.

For creators and small teams without a design budget, this is a SERIOUS time-saver.

You don’t need to learn Figma, Canva, Adobe or hire a designer to create professional visuals anymore.

They are literally now at your fingertips.

🫡 Final Thoughts

Google’s been quietly making their AI tools genuinely useful — and Nano Banana Pro is a perfect example.

It’s cool at first, but I’d rather not generate random images.

I want to turn my ideas into polished, practical visuals in seconds.

And that’s exactly what NBP does.

If you’ve ever wasted an afternoon trying to make an infographic or product poster look decent, give this a try.

Feel free to reply back with your latest NBP creations.

I read them all and may even feature someone’s creation!

Hoping you found this helpful.

And if you did, please consider forward this to a friend who always complains about design work — they’ll thank you 😉
